My name is Lea and I am the owner and founder of Winkistry Co.

In 2019, I was first established under the brand name, Lashmelea. It wasn’t until during the global pandemic that I rebranded and re-opened with a new name, Winkistry. I am a fellow Bay Arean who is a 5x certified. Before becoming a lash artist, I walked through valleys to locate where my place would be in this industry. I was a student living on their own, trying to juggle a social life, family time, spiritual and mental well-being, all while simply being my truest self.

Being a college student at the time and working 3 jobs while juggling a busy lifestyle, my cup was half empty. It took just enough time to realize that finding passion in my work may be the solution to seeing my cup half full. Being a lash artist in this industry only gave me more reasons to educate beginner courses all while being patient, kind to yourself, and working hard through my testimony as a Bay Arean looking for opportunities to survive.

With my small business now, I have created 1,000+ individual relationships with clients who nourish me after every visit.

There’s more to lashing than just applying extensions on a natural lash. It’s the proper techniques, maintaining their health, creating different lash styles, ensuring safety when lashing clients, asking questions, and when to share proper knowledge.

Starting as a lash artist in 2019, I now am a Lash Educator since April 2023. From being someone who was just in your chair while working at multiple jobs to make ends meet, I built an artist in me who is a survivor of the pandemic era. With my patience, hard work, and consistency, I am here as your mentor and friend to help you succeed in this lashing industry.
